The Georg Fischer MSA 340 is a high-performance electrofusion unit engineered for PE and PP pipe jointing in utilities, water treatment, and marine applications. Operating across a fusion voltage range of 8–48V AC with a maximum fusion current of 100A, it supports fittings from d20 to d315 mm. The unit delivers full welding documentation including ISO 12176-4 traceability data, operator ID, job codes, and automatic GPS coordinates embedded in every fusion record. Internal memory stores up to 1,000 jointing protocols in PDF and CSV formats, transferable via USB Type-A interface. Automatic energy output compensation adjusts for ambient temperature (-10°C to +45°C), ensuring consistent weld quality. The IP65-rated aluminium enclosure includes barcode scanner input, 4m mains and fusion cables, and angle adapters (4.0mm and 4.7mm). Suggested generator: 3.5 kVA (5.0 kVA for d>200mm).
