Return Policy

Return window: 14 calendar days from delivery.

Return cost: Free for defective or wrongly delivered Goods; otherwise paid by the customer.

1. Who can return Goods

  • Returns can be made by the individuals or legal entities who purchased the Goods and are the holders of the invoice, or by their authorized representatives.
  • Additional Services (such as installation or uninstallation) are non-refundable once they have been provided.

2. Return period and right of withdrawal

  • You may return Goods within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery.
  • For distance purchases you may withdraw from the contract without justification and without penalty, with the sole exception of the return shipping costs described in section 7.

3. How to return Goods

  • In person at the BIG-WELD headquarters, together with a completed Return Form; or
  • By sending a withdrawal statement by post, email or fax (for distance purchases).

4. Condition of returned Goods

  • Goods must be in their original or otherwise safe packaging.
  • All components, accessories, manuals and warranty certificates must be included.
  • Goods must not be damaged, altered or excessively worn, and must be clean.
  • A restocking or cleaning fee may be deducted from the refund, or the refund reduced, where Goods are returned unclean, used or with a diminished value.

5. Goods that cannot be returned

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Sealed Goods that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons, once unsealed.
  • Goods made to your specifications or clearly customized.
  • Goods subject to quick deterioration or with a short sell-by date.
  • Sealed audio or video recordings, or computer software, that were unsealed after delivery.
  • Newspapers, periodicals and magazines, except for subscriptions to such publications.
  • Digital content whose delivery began with your consent and acknowledgment of the loss of the right of withdrawal.
  • Goods or Services whose price depends on financial-market fluctuations outside the vendor’s control that may occur during the withdrawal period.
  • Goods that, by their nature, are inseparable from other elements once delivered.
  • Alcoholic beverages whose price was agreed at the time of sale and depends on market fluctuations outside the vendor’s control.
  • Services already fully performed with your prior consent.
  • Goods purchased on credit, for which partial returns are not accepted.
  • Goods and Services supplied during urgent repair or maintenance works you expressly requested at your premises — other than any additional Goods beyond the indispensable spare parts, which remain returnable.

6. Refund process

  • Notify BIG-WELD of the return via the Return Form or in person. We confirm receipt of your request within 1 business day.
  • Returned Goods must be accompanied by the invoice and proof of payment.
  • Refunds are issued within 14 calendar days, using the same payment method used for the purchase:
    • online card payments – refunded to the card or account used for payment;
    • payments by purchase order, cash on delivery, iTransfer or card – refunded by bank transfer;
    • cash payments – refunded at the headquarters;
    • purchases paid by consumer credit – annulment and recalculation of the contractual instalments.
  • BIG-WELD may withhold the refund until the Goods have been received back, or until proof of their dispatch has been provided.
  • Where only part of a promotional package is returned, the remaining Goods are recalculated at the standard (non-promotional) price.
  • The 14-day term may be extended only with your agreement.

7. Return costs

  • Returns are free of charge when the Goods have manufacturing defects or were delivered in error.
  • For returns for any other reason (change of mind, wrong choice or withdrawal), the return shipping cost is borne by you and is calculated according to the courier’s rates, based on the weight and dimensions of the parcel.
  • Bulky Goods or deliveries to remote areas may generate additional return costs.
  • Where you use a courier of your own choosing, BIG-WELD does not cover those costs.

8. Personal data for returns

  • Processing a return requires certain personal data (such as name, address, identification and bank details), used solely in accordance with applicable fiscal law.
  • Refusal to provide the necessary data may prevent the return from being processed.
  • BIG-WELD reserves the right to refuse returns that constitute an abuse of the right of return.
